Milestones Early Educational Community is a Nationally Accredited, five-star rated, Reggio Emilia inspired school in Menomonie, WI.

At Milestones Early Educational Community, we view each child as imaginative, independent, and eager to learn. Our goal is to inspire children to explore, question, and captain their learning journey, in a supportive and Christian environment. As a nationally accredited, five-star child care center located in Menomonie, WI, Milestones partners with the children to adapt the Reggio Emilia-inspired learning approach for our preschool curriculum.

Arnie Swoboda

Owner

Arnie has a degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from the University of WI – Eau Claire. He began his career in the Peace Corps, teaching English to middle and high schoolers in Romania. He has been teaching in the Chippewa Valley since 2007 and has loved every minute of it!

Kerry Swoboda

Owner

Kerry has a professional background in social work, child development, and child therapy. She has a Master's degree in Social Work with a focus on mental health from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Kerry has a passion for working with children and families and enjoys her time at our Chippewa Falls location.

Jamie Saxton

Director

Jamie has completed Early Childhood Education classes at Chippewa Valley Technical College. She loves working with the children at Milestones because of their continued eagerness to learn new things every day.

Jackie Prudlow

Jackie has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite thing about working with the children at Milestones is watching the excitement and amazement of their faces as they discover something new.

Samantha has an Associates Degree in Child Care Services from CVTC. She loves helping children grow and develop as they come into their own personality, and helping mold the young minds to achieve their full potential.

Jennifer has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of WI – Stout. Her favorite thing about working with children is watching them learn and grow.

Sarah Woodford

Sarah has an Associate’s Degree in Child Care and Development from WITC – New Richmond. She loves working with children and watching them grow, learn, and explore new things everyday.

4K Assistant

Sabrinna has her associates degree in Early Childhood Education from CVTC. She loves being able to watch the children grow and achieve new milestones as they develop.

Kelli has an associates degree in Early childhood education from CVTC and a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from UW-stout. Her favorite thing about working with children is getting to watch them learn and grow each and every day.

Lindsey holds her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Throughout her 15 years of working with children her favorite part is watching them learn and grow through the school year.

Ashley has taken all the classes through The Education Station to earn her lead teaching qualifications. She enjoys getting to know the children and learning their individual personalities.

Tayla is junior at UW Stout majoring in Hospitality and Tourism. She loves working with children because the environment around them is so enjoyable, she loves to have fun and make sure the children have fun too!

Adalade is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education at UW Stout. Her love of working with children began we she was 12 years old and has been working with young children ever since as a babysitter and at other early learning centers.

Jasmine is working towards her degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies at UW Stout. She enjoys working with children because of all their different personalities, creativity, and differing stages of development.

Andrew is a sophomore who is working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education at UW Stout. He enjoys how much fun young children are and how they are always looking to share that joy with others.

Awtum is a psychology major at UW Stout. She enjoys working with children because they always have contagious energy and a fresh perspective on life.

Brittane Flandrick

Brittane has her associates degree in Early Childhood Education from WITC as well as several credits in Elementary Education from UW Superior. Brittane enjoys the spark of curiosity and imagination that children have that they put into life. She also enjoys teaching and guiding children into a love of learning.

Ali is working toward her degree in animal science at UW River Falls. She loves working with children and watching their minds and personalities grow.

Taylor Kernstock

Taylor loves working with young children and is a 4K teacher at Headstart during the school year. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and is excited to work at Milestones.
